    SoCal: 2005 STi OBP 88,xxx miles $16000

    2005 OBP STi

    Miles: 88,xxx

    VIN: JF1GD706051511008

    Asking: $16,000, no trades

    Location: Riverside, CA 92508

    Mods:
BC Racing coilovers with extenders in the rear (currently ~stock height)
    Titek catless DP
    HKS catback exhaust
    Rota G-force wheels (17x8)
Defi gauges (boost, oil temp, oil pressure)
    Innovate LC-1 wideband & gauge
    Hella horns
    Apexi turbo timer
    Rally armor flaps

Will include: Full stock exhaust (for smog check) and stock A-pillar cover. And if I can find them, the stock struts w/eibach springs and stock springs.

I bought this car when it had 25k miles on it and have the title in hand. It currently has 88k miles. I am selling it because I am buying a Forester in a couple of weeks. It was never raced nor tracked; I couldn’t afford the tires for that. Oil changed every 3500 miles.

At about 67k miles the water pump froze up, shredding the timing belt and the engine had a meltdown. I had it rebuilt by Apollo Racing in Upland. I also had the clutch replaced and flywheel resurfaced at the same time. I have the receipt.

    Rebuild:
Heads resurfaced, 3 valves replaced, all new gaskets, ACL race bearings installed. New waterpump, timing assembly, idlers, and timing cover.

A/C was recharged along with new tranny fluid at 78k miles. New pads and rotors were put in about 5k miles ago and the rear diff got new Motul fluid about 3k miles ago. The car passed smog with flying colors in July, have the results.

The car will need tires soon. The fuel gauge is a little wonky, it’ll read correctly when the tank is full, but when it gets down past half a tank it reads it incorrectly. I think the floater on the lower sending unit may be stuck.

Only two conditions: If you’re under 18, please come with a parent for a test drive. And I need the car until May 10th, since that's when I'll be picking up my new car.
