CA: 2002 Wrx White, Hybrid Motor $6000

Hey guys, hate to put my wrx for sale but I can no longer afford it. Has been garaged for the past 5 months and is currently non opp due to the transmission and other problems. I'm not the original builder of this car but I have owned wrx's in the past and have maintained it to the best of my ability. I want this to be a 100% honest sale and don't want to hide anything from the buyer, so I will list all its specs/problems below and feel free to ask me any questions! Thanks for looking.

    2002 Wrx with Hybrid Swap
    Manual 5 speed
~95,000 miles on body ~45,000 on rebuild
No AC, but I have some of the lines and compressor.
    Price: $6000 CASH ONLY

I still owe money on the car so I won't be making any money off the sale just need to pay it off as I can't afford the payment or repairs anymore. Buyer will be provided a bill of sale and will be able to pickup the title the next day at the DMV in their name.

    THE BAD:
    -Bad Transmission
    -Bad Driver side Cv Axle
    -Oil Leak

OK, here its goes. The transmission is going to need to be replaced. 3rd gear and 5th gear are both gone. Was driving up a mountain road with a pretty steep grade and lost 3rd in mid acceleration, and soon after lost 5th on the way home. Never launched the car since these 02 transmissions can be sensitive so I'm guessing the power and grade caused it to go, highly recommend putting 04+ transmission in. Driver side CV axle has a really bad knock so that will also need to be replaced. The throwout bearing sounds completely awful and rattles, but is an easy fix considering the transmission will need to replaced. Theres a pretty bad oil leak also, never got a chance to fix it since the transmission went out, but from the looks of it, its the front crankshaft gasket under the pulley that will need replacing. Other than that its has normal wear and tear for a 2002 car, body is a 7/10 with dings here and there. The front bumper is probably the worst part of the body and it has pits from rocks and scrap damage from driveways.

I'm interested but honestly I'm a bit scared of the issues. I won't be a low baller, as I have had that happen too me far too many times in the past. If you get in a jam and really want to off load it I would buy with cash just not at that current price point.

I hope that you get every penny your asking for it.

    Cheers,

    -Nate
