Thumbs up 2005 All Stock WRX Wagon MUST SELL

Spun a rod bearing and decided I want to buy a newer vehicle rather than do a build. I don't believe in swapping out this engine for another used one and then selling it like everything is fine. I think the future owner will want to do the build themselves, and this is a great platform ready for just that. So, up for sale is my 2005. I'm the original owner and the only upgrade is the OEM SSK installed at time of purchase by the dealer. I'm a family guy in my 30's, so this is not a car that has been raced and rallyed around. Car has 83,000 miles and is located in Fremont, CA.

    Crystal Gray Metallic

Thanks, got your PM. Car is sitting at the shop and I don't have any pictures, but I'll call them tomorrow and have them text me a few photos so I can share with those who are interested.

    Thanks for the interest!

Pictures. There are a couple small dents and paint chips on the PS hood from a rock that hit me on the freeway.

Yeah, you don't need any luck selling this beauty.
I want a second 2005 Crystal Gray Metallic Wagon to build up.

Just curious, how did it spin the bearings?

Not sure how the rod bearing spun. Was driving on the freeway just cruising and car shut down and wouldn't crank. Had oil, had oil pressure, no leaks, no overheating. Mechanic thinks it's bad from the factory since there are no other signs.

@UEDan - are you interested in purchasing the vehicle? TOrque is sort of first in line and I talked to him today, but if that falls through and you're interested, send me a PM and we can talk.
