WTB: Stockish 2004-2005 WRX under $12K

Hello. I'm new to the forum and come from the GM world. I'm looking for a 5-speed manual 2004-2005 WRX in decent shape to use as my daily driver. I prefer the World Rally Blue or the San Remo Red. I also like the Silver and Arctic White. Really, I'm not too picky...I just don't want black or yellow.

I'd really like one that is stock or close to it (intake, exhaust, etc). I'm definitely wanting one with less than 100K miles.

I'm located in Ohio but am willing to travel a little ways for a good deal.

Send me a PM or the best way to contact me is via email at tfarrar134@hotmail.com

Thanks and I look forward to joining the WRX crowd soon!

Forgot to mention...I'm looking for a sedan, not a wagon.

Good luck. You could probably get a 2002 for that price.

If I were selling my 06 I'd want 17k for it... so 12 for an 05 is getting in the unreasonably low / heavily damaged range.

A local dealer supposedly just bought a 2004 WRB with 65,000 miles at an auction and is looking to get $10,900 out of it. He hasn't received it yet but I found out about it after calling for information on another WRX he had listed. As soon as it comes in, I'm going to go check it out. If that falls through, I'm also looking into a 2004 SRR with 95,000 miles for $9,700 from a private seller. The only problem is that car is over 5 hours away...so I really only like to make the trip if I had cash in hand and was for sure buying it.

I know they are out there...just have to find them.

Well my search has ended and ended in a good result. My dad spotted an awesome deal on Craigslist this morning on a 2007 WRX TR in the World Rally Blue color. I sent a deposit and will go and pick it up after the first of the year as it is located about 6 hours from me.
