    2004 WRX JDM SWAP HELP !!!

    Hey everyone I have a 2004 WRX swapped with JDM engine need some help with wiring the engine has AVCS but not planning on using it using original USDM wiring hurness
    ENGINE is in runs ruff have a cam sensor codes

    There is more than just sticking the engine in the car. The ecu has to be tuned to that engine.

    You may have to have a custom harness as there is the chance the sensors for the jdm engine don't mesh with the usdm ecu. There is also a likelihood that there is a cam position difference between the non avcs and the avcs and your ecu is kicking codes because the cam is not where it thinks it should be.

    Honestly, that's the most help I can offer at the moment. If another idea comes to mind I'll stop by again. Good luck bud.
