    Remote door locks not working

I have a 1998 Subaru legacy Outback with remote door locks and no security system. Recently the remote locks quit working. I have replaced the battery in the remote and still does not lock or unlock the doors. the red light on remote lights when I push the buttons on it. Do I need to reprogram the remote and how?

Sounds like you'll need to reprogram the remote. I don't remember how to though.
