Ok guys, I have a '12 WRX hatch and am frustrated that I cannot get this sequence to shut off the lock/unlock beeping. I mean really, if you hit the remote lock with a door open (say while you are getting your laptop out of the back seat in the parking lot at work) do I really need 5 beeps with an additional 6th beep when I close the door. Lock the f'n door and shutup. So, anyone with any ideas about what I may be doing wrong? Have tried several iterations with no luck. :unhappy:

Was easy enough by only take out the 4 clips on the pass wheel and the 2 clip sunder the bumper and pulling back the under piece and disconnect and tape it off, took 10min.
I'm wondering if those Halo kits they sell will plug right into the DRL plug (much preferable to plugging them into the parking light connection, IMO).
I'm not sure if this has been posted yet or not, but for those that want to get rid of being locked out of having your passenger use the navigation features to input new address etc. while car is in motion, here's the fix for this...
