I've only used the AP in real time driving a couple of times. That bloddy cable adapter is right in the way when its plugged into the OBD port. Not to mention you pretty much need a passenger to read it for you while you drive.

Everything went fine once I updated my map library. Just hate that you have to un-install each time you have to up date it. Cobbs web site is saying that the next update you will not have to do that anymore. When I do use mine while driving I have it in a cell phone holder attached to the vent, works pretty good.

ya, the vent cell holder works great.

For all the complaints you guys have, you should actally READ the thread that was posted.

Calling them isn't going to accomplish anything....unless wasting their time on the phone counts.

Couple questions...

1) im going to do my firmware upgrade today. Do i have to go to stock and then go do the firmware upgrade, then go back to my stage 2 again?

2) I live in CA and i'm running the MTV91 octane stage 2 map.. should i run the ACN91 octane map, will i see more gains because i'd be running the right map because i live in california?

1. Yes. You have to unmarry the APv2 in order to update it, its teh gay.

2. Yes you should be running the ACN Stg 2 map as it was formulated on our craptacular gasoline.

3. Where in Ca? Have you had any pingin on the MTV91?

Pinging is the same as detonation is the same as pre igntion and sounds like a weird rattling from then engine that usually happens under load.

I doubt there is much of a difference between the 2 maps. Mine runs rich I should try the Mt map.

Yes unistall flashes back stock.

Be prepared it takes ~40 min to update the AP V2 firmware.
