Cobb AP: Where are the Maps & What is my target Psi!?

idk if this is the right spot to ask this question but, is it possible to use a stage II map on an AP with the stock downpipe instead of a high flow one to acheive higher boost levels?

The map notes explain the modifications required to run each map. If your car doesn't meet those qualifications, then do not flash that map onto your car.

Do NOT do this. In order to create more boost you have to be able to flow a certain amount of exhaust gas through the piping. The stock down pipe can not handle this flow due to the catalytic converter in it and you will be putting the turbo under a lot of stress to attempt to achieve these higher boost targets thanks to too much back pressure. I repeat, do NOT do this.

Some people have gutted their stock cat's and had success with a stage 2 map, you can try this, but do not leave the cat intact and go to a stage 2 map.

so i have hear that you can share maps and there is a place for people to do this but all i can find is the cobb maps.

is there somewhere i can get a map for:

intake, FMIC, 4" downpipe and 4" exhaust


or even one for e85?

The Cobb map sharing thing really never got off the ground. The only thing you can do is get a custom tune from a licensed Protuner.

i was wondering when you buy the cobb AP can you get the stage two map with out buying their down pipe and cat-back?

All of their maps are free and downloadable from their website.

In fact if you buy it from someone other than COBB, many times it will come with additional maps beyond COBBs. Since vendors can't discount the price sometimes they add maps to make to more appealing to consumers. Maybe something to consider

Hey , you may have mentioned info I am about to ask but I haven't read thru it, I just got a cobb access port listed 02-05 or so wrx 2.0, I have a 04 sti ,question is can I still use this tuner and or get maps for my sti ? or am I screwed ; ) thank you ahead of time

your car has the 32bit ECU... the 02-05wrx have a 16bit ECU. Sorry bud!
