    test/safe mode?

I am just wondering on this, there is an 02 wrx that's stock for sale. when I got there the check engine light was flashing and was running alittle rough. But the guy just returned back to the dealership from getting the inspection on the car. So knowing that I took it for a test drive and it basically bogs alittle down low then when it hits about 3200 rpms it basically cuts power off and accelerates VERY slowly. So when I got back I unplugged the green conectors that were plugged in for test mode and then I restarted the car and the blinking CEL went off and didn't come back on but the car still ran the exact same. My question is if you run the car in that test mode does it do something with the ecu where you have to reset it to get it back to its normal running condition?

No.........and you don't need to make a new thread for every question you have about this car. Stick with your original thread. And if you don't even own this car yet,I would just walk away from it.
