Your boost in the datalog I looks all sorts of wacky to me. According to the log it looks like you are overboosting by more than 2psi at WOT. I'm not sure exactly how the Cobb AP works the the Si drive in the STI's but it doesn't look right. I think the ROM only loads to one of the two settings and you have to leave it there. Someone else can chime in on that.

Now in your S# log, what is your target boost with the OTS map? From what I can tell it looks to be at 18.8psi It doesn't look as if you are over boosting though on that setting, which is good. The S# log certainly looks a lot better that the I log.

I'm not 100% sure about the cobb's boost targets, but i want to say cobbs OTS is set at 18. It might be wise to keep it in s#? I'll try and do another data log in s#.

    ??

Do you mean boost select? No. This is the benefit of requested torque: you can tune the different throttle modes to target boost differently.

FYR OP: You have too many parameters logged. What is the purpose of your datalog? If you are logging for a specific purpose, you should be logging only the necessary parameters to ensure the best temporal resolution.

Got ya, this makes sense now. So then what's the deal with his I log? looks like some overboosting to me. Starting to learn how to read these more in depth. /threadjack

    No, not at all:

The datalog shows peak boost within acceptable range for the map. OP's peak boost is at 18.8 PSI (from the resolution logged) while the map's target boost is 18.5 +/- 1.0 PSI

Boost threshold of ~3000 PSI is normal for a VF48 STi. It would be nice to see a datalog to redline.

Zax, what is your recommendation on which parameters I should log? What I have was set from factory.

What is the purpose of your log? The parameters and methodology should be based on an a priori understanding of what you're attempting to see

For example, if I'm tuning timing I will Datalog different params from if I'm tuning fueling.

In which case you should log boost, target boost, calculated load, throttle, and rpm
