    Installing computer re-programer

    I have a 2013 STi , what can I realistically expect if I install a computer re-programer ? I don't want to go crazy , just take it
up a notch and maybe a little better mileage ... and , I know this is subjective , but which one is best ?

One choice. Cobb accessport, if you haven't changed anything on the car then a stage 1 is your best bet. If you want to save a couple bucks try looking around the forum to see if someone is selling one.

There isn't just one choice. There are a few.
Cobb Accessport, open-source via tactrix 2.0,and ecutek.

All are viable option and I suggest you take a look at the FAQS to determine which route you want to go. They all achieve the same thing, some are just cheaper than others depending on what already have. For instance, if you have a laptop, tactrix 2.0 is less than $200 and you can get tunes from forum vendors. In comparison, the accessport can range from 300-500 depending on the version. Remember tho, for tactrix you need a laptop so it may turn out Cobb is cheaper.

AP is by far the most popular choice for its ease of use and customer support.
