    2004 wrx turboback em help

Ordering a tactrix cable and the flash block for my wrx. The car is stock as far as I know except for the turboback.
I'm plannning on paying for a base map to run. But I need to have so.e direction and help knowing what I need to log
And if anybody can reffer me to someone that can fine tune the map. Should I go stage 1 or 2 and is there anything else
I'd be missing? Will put base stage map on for logging then reflash to stock until the tune is finished or is this not required

I would talk to Phatron (Ron Watson) if you're wanting an e-tune.. if you already have a downpipe then your map would be stage two. Ron, or any other decent e-tuner should direct you as far as what to log and how to do it..

Yea I'm not racing it around right now mainly because I'm afraid of ruining it. I don't even know if there's a previous tune on it. Ive got a Downpipe. Full turboback. I'd also like the tune to have daily driving in mind

My best advice, pick your tuner carefully.. then relay to them that you want a safe conservative map for your car.

Phatron and dux10 on NASIOC, and WTFtuning on here have been helpful to me and they all seem to have a lot of very satisfied customers. If going with an e-mail tune, these would be the first guys I would talk with.

Also, a lot of big name shops are sometimes willing to do e-tunes as well. I emailed several shops around the country asking about it.

Ok cool yea I'm gonna check them out. I'm looking for affordable too. Would a base map work with just the turboback? I heard of the 50 maps that com e with the adjustments after logging. Who does those

You can probably get a safe base map from someone.. but base maps are not designed to make power at all, they're just so you can drive without blowing it up. You're probably going to want some power.. and fuel efficiency that comes with a real tune.
