How many of you run 93 octane on a 91 tune?

I'm getting my AP tomorrow and trying to decide which tune I want to load, I know that it will be safer to run the 91 tune and 93 octane but I would also like to squeeze as much power out of it as possible. I'm thinking maybe I'll load the 93 tune, datalog, and change the tune if the logs look crappy? What are your recommendations?

If you have access to 93 then run the 93 tune. And as mentioned always datalog regardless.

    93 tune - put in 93 gas
    91 tune - put in 91 gas

Use the tune appropriate for whatever gas you have access to, and always log no matter what.

Do you have the knowledge to modify the map based on the logs?

Probably not, I wasn't aware that you could alter the OTS Cobb maps.

You can with AccessTuner Race. The software is free by request from Cobb.

OTS maps are super conservative to begin with. You run 91 octane w/the 91 tune and 93 with the 93 tune. Otherwise you are literally just wasting 10-25 cents a gallon depending on your gas prices where you are.
