I've just read this thread and am very interested in the outcome. Its been a couple of months since the last posting. Did you find an electrical problem, as in a short somewhere? Are you still replacing the MAFs?

    thanks, Dave
I wish the Hondas would learn to use the right lane...

    Hi Dave,

We've replaced music system and now the last MAF is working fine. But... and a big BUT, unfortunately the problem still there. We've also implemented a water/meth injection system, which is being used with 50/50 w/m, gone for a mild tuning @ about ~350hp or su with a 20g Tomeika journal bearing turbo and CP internals. We've changed from APS 65mm CAI to std box unit with inbox filter. Got a pro tune that lasted almost a day and everything looked perfect.

But after ~50km of driving, now the car is hessitating at constant speed with almost none to half throttle and any RPM below 3k. I'm definitely fed up with the car, and now its on sale. Meanwhile we're still trying to figure out what the cause is, but I don't have any enthusiasm left in me driving this car.

One time I had some weird stuff going on with AFR where the car would drive fine for a while, then all of a sudden while just cruising AFR would go all wacky and the car would lose power. Turned out my injector seals were bad and somehow air was getting sucked into the rail, but there were no leaks. At least not until months later when one of the other seals popped out completely.

It might be a long shot.. but I would try pulling the injectors, inspect the seals, and reseat them.

That is an intersting case MainFrame. I'll pass this information to my mechanic. We've put 750ccs and did not change fuel rail. When would the AFR go wacky? Was it on constant throttle? For instance, I'm not getting any problems at WOT and under boost.

Yeah, it was constant throttle while cruising on the highway when it would happen. For a while I could step on the gas and it would straighten out for a little while, but when it got bad the car lost nearly all power and wouldn't respond to increased throttle.
