    Accessport tune question

Hi all I have a 2012 wrx hatch with APV3, cobb intake and box along with a magnaflow catback. My question is im currently running 93 octane at the pump. which tune should I use? sf91v300 or sf93v300? Is 91 for wrx and 93 for sti? I just want some clarification to put the right tune.

You can run either one. The 9X refers to the octane rating that it's designed for. You can run a lower octane map (91) on higher octane (93), but not vice versa.

Also - there is no reason not to use the sf93 tune if you have regular access to 93 octane. Just be aware that it does mean you must always buy 93, and pay the premium for it. The two tunes are both mild so don't feel like the 91 will save your motor. Cobb keeps their tunes mild very purposely. You can always get a protune if you want to push the limits a bit, and those can go from mild to wild.

Run the 93 map. Both tunes come for free, so keep the AP on hand and if you never need to run 91 for emergency (93 is not available), then flash the 91 map on. Easy peasy.

Okay sweeeeeet! I just did the magnaflow catback and I feel the car a tad bit slower. For some reason, the boost curve is so much smoother and you don't feel that rush of boost anymore. There no kick. Might be because I lost some back pressure or It might also be the exhaust sound as we'll. idk. Before the catback, it was quiet and all you would hear was the turbo spooling up. I'm gonna datalog in a bit and post.
