    DATA LOGS

Hey everyone..I did a couple 3rd gear pulls today just to see how things were today with the hotter temps out. I have a bit of knock in the same spot on both pulls. Doesn't seem to be major but it does make me curious as to why it's happening. If anybody wants to check these over that would be great I like to hear your thoughts.

Your boost oscillation is back in both of the logs.

You can try the 91 octane version of the map (continue to fill up with 93/94 though), and see if that resolves the knock issue.

I only have 91 octane where I am located. Somebody has mentioned to try switching to the 91ACN but I wasn't sure if I should because I'm not in any of those States I'm in Canada. What do you think? Or should I try the LWG 91 octane?

Try the ACN map (likely what Cobb will tell you)

Reflashed to 91 ACN stage 2. These are the newest data logs...the first 2 are 3rd gear pulls and just to check I did a 4th as well. I think I still have boost oscillation but the knocks are gone?

You have an oscillation in 4th gear, but not in 3rd...

Your car seems to like that map better.

I just got a protune done by an individual off line...not quite sure if it's good or not. Please view and let me know your takes are on my log. I don't like the knock but I don't know.

It's learning its way back to zero. Check it again in a few days.

It's going to learn the knock and eliminate it? How does everything else look to you? I asked for a safe and all year round tune.

It's the knock control strategy doing its thing...

RomRaider • View topic - Subaru's knock control strategy explained

For some reason, it felt the need to pull timing preemptively to avoid knocking. It's in the process of adding timing back in until you're back to zero in that FLKC table cell.

Boost doesn't seem horrible (17.75PSI), although maybe a little aggressive for 91 octane (but without seeing the entire mapping, I can't say that definitively). You don't know AFRs without a WBO2. As for "all year round" tune, I can't tell you that, because I'm only getting a snapshot of what's happening right now.

As I said, check it again in a few days.
