Should I flash to stage 1 today or wait?

I have my access port arriving today in a few hours (I like to stalk my packages). I have my cobb sf intake coming in towards the end of this Friday.

Should I wait to flash to stage 1 + SF? Or just flash to stage 1 with stock intake and run it for a few days?

Flash it man. Flash it like a cops like to flash their flashlights in your eyes at night. Flash it hard.

if he flashes stage 1 now then runs it for a few days things will adapt to his stock intake still. if he flashes then puts intake on i think he would need to reflash or disconnect battery so then the car can get used to the new intake. or maybe he could just put it on and it would adapt and be fine...

I'd do it in stages and use the accessport's "dyno" to compare differences between stock pulls, stage 1 pulls, and stage 1 +intake pulls. That would be pretty helpful for the community.

May as well. You have the +Intake map for when it gets there. You'll also familiarize yourself with the process.

I found the dynomometer to be very inaccurate..... I did 3 pulls but I don't know the exact weight of the car. Also the numbers were completely off. First pull was above 350hp while second pull said I was under 250hp... I need to start data logging for real numbers.

Gotcha. I've never used the Cobb one. I assumed it would be like virtualdyno where as long as you input the same values and do the pulls on the same stretch of road, you could at least compare numbers against each other. In other words, it may tell you that you have 400 hp stock, which is obviously inaccurate, but you could at least throw the tune on there and then see how much it increased compared to that first number.
