This is a discussion on Wideband A/F and AccessPort within the Tuning: Electronic Engine Management forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; Is there a way I can log my external wideband with the accessport? Of course for tuning purposes....

    Is there a way I can log my external wideband with the accessport? Of course for tuning purposes.

    Yes, you need to download accesstuner race. Then you need to wire a serial cable to your wideband. Then you need a serial to USB converter.

    You log with your laptop it's the only way to do it. So it only logs when you have it plugged into your laptop and are logging.

    Yes the Accessport will plug into the computer

    Oh so the serial cable goes to the laptop and the accessport goes into another usb slot. Is this correct?

    No, you still have to wire your wideband to a serial. There is really nothing difficult about it. You need a serial cable, a serial to USB and download Accesstuner Race.

    I appreciate your help for one. I got the accessPort so I wouldn't need to log with a laptop.

    I see. Last thing, I don't have an AEM, I have an LC-1.

    You can still log with the LC-1. You would get much better logs using a Tactrix anyways. The AP has horrible resolution.
