    AEM UEGO logging Roma raider

currently trying to figure out how to log the aem wideband gauge on romraider.

one of the wires did have power, checked with test light, the 0-5v wire. it also appeared and said driver installed and ready to use usb to serial. i installed the driver from the busted finger motorsports disc that was provided. rom raider is up to date.

tried opening the plugins for the aem uego for both the afr and the lambda in 9600 and 19200 baud and that didnt work, openedd it all up in both the data and dashboard tab and still nothing. selected it under external sensors and for plugins and nothing works. the gauge itself works fine and apparently the usb drive works fine, i selected com port 5 since that is the only one available and no numbers..

    any help?

Try running in Windows XP compatibility mode. I never had a problem with logging on my laptop (WinXP), but everyone running Win7 seems to have issues with it recognizing the serial to USB adapter.

Yeah, the problem is with Windows 7 not having serial support so it doesn't assign the cable a COM port. I'm sure there's a workaround.. but I prefer to keep XP on my tuning laptop, so I haven't ever taken the time to figure out what it takes to make it work on Win7. =\

Well I got it to work...all I had to do was unselect the "ECU" box next to where it says COM. So both COM ports work 3&5. It reads fine just by selecting the 9600 baud and then in plugins select it and then select COM port and then ok. So it works lol. But I do notice it is tricky and sometimes have to restart the program or refresh it or something. It's finicky on how to get it up but it does come up. Tactrix should be here tmmrw so when that comes in ill uninstall AP and try to log just to make sure everything works, also will save and reflash stock map on ecu flash to make sure that works well and then when everything does ill reflash AP map, soon setup hybrid boost system and then get the base map
