    DataLog Question...

OK so here goes.. (First post on here as well, hopefully more to come)

I just got Cobb 93 Octane Stage 1 + SF installed onto my car (12' WRX) and I have about 80-100 miles on the tune.

I ran a few Data Logs and this is what i get.

    (hopefully this works?)

    DepositFiles (1st through 3rd acceleration)

    DepositFiles (driving around town)

DepositFiles (Line 1150 really bad knock?)
If there is a better way to share my CSV logs from my AP let me know.

    Feeling rather worried about this..
But the car feels like it runs and drives smooth and cant feel anything.

IF there is anything else i should do to get a better log let me know. Pretty knew to this, but really wanting to learn best i can.

    Thanks for your time

:/ blocked for me at work... The cobb map on my car isnt perfect and i have some knock. When normally driving its usually -1/1 max for fine knock learn but then some days its -4.2 sometimes.. so cant view your logs but do you know how to tune through the AP tuning download? Some other members will help ya out

Are you using the heat shield for the airbox? I would also check and make sure nothing is lose. All the knock is happening at low load/low rpm. Obviously you don't want the car knocking bet it isn't as detrimental as knocking at high boost/high load

I do have the box for the Cobb Intake. It looked and it was rattling against the cars interior so i put a small piece of a rubber gasket to help with that.

I did another 3rd gear pull from about 2k RPM

and another average around town driving.

Note: During these logs it was raining sideways and sticks all over the roads from that lovely storm that went through Columbus/Pittsburgh. FWIW

Seems i dont get any feedback knock of more then -1.4 which i guess is better? I understand that all cars will have SOME knock on occasion, just knowing how much is acceptable for reliability is a bit confusing to me..

On my Datalog i see my DAM which should be a "1" meaning the car is generally healthy with the Tune correct? and since the Knock isnt making the "1" go down to .8 or .9 the knock its sensing isn't that bad?

Also, if i have a DAM column, then what is the Dynamic Adv. Column? and is it ok for it to go all over like it does?

The "Dynamic Advance" table is also known as the "Knock Correction" table. It is basically useless to log or reference. Yes it is fine for it to be all over. It is another timing table. Base timing+Dynamic Advance+DAM+other timing compensation tables=total timing
