2011 WRX Cobb OTS stage 2 datalog

Just wanted to post my datalog up here to see if anyone could analyze it for me and see if theres anything going wrong after going stage 2 with stock catback.

Mods:
Invidia DP
Stock Intake
Stock Catback

I wanted to post up my stage one datalog as well.

Stage One 93 Octane Cobb OTS:

Both were 3rd gear pulls, got pretty close to redline both times.

Any analysis would be great thanks

Log looked decent, but you're polling too many variables...

Disable the following:
A/F Learning 1
A/F Sensor 1
Dynamic Adv (°)

Drive around for a few days. Do another datalog or two in 3rd gear, from 2K-redline. Follow it up with a 4th gear pull from 2K-as high as you feel comfortable going, but 4500+.

okay cool will do. this is the only knock that i got and it was at at <2500 rpm.. dont really understand knock yet so should i be worried?

Something caused the knock sensor to register knock. If you can't repeat it at a similar RPM/Load, I wouldn't worry about it.

In terms of your tuning/logs, IAM = DAM / Dynamic Adv (*) = Knock Correction Advance (Cobb calls them something different). The concepts themselves, are the same.

On my way to work this mornin every once in a while I got -1.0 feedback knock in 4th and -1.4 feedback in 5th all at low rpms. Should I only worry about damaging my car if I'm knocking at WOT and higher rpms. I understand what knock is now I just don't know how it damages an engine. Does it burn up the valves or is it literally the engine knocking.

I'm gonna do more log at WOT on my way home.

I believe it is normal for there to be knock at low rpms. I don't think there is a problem only if you see this at WOT like you said. I'm assuming when you say low its below 2k right?

Yea I'd say below 2400 rpms in high gear

Again, if the knock isn't repeatable, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is, then it's something to take into consideration.

4th gear pull on my way home was showing feedback knock at WOT from 2600 to 3700 rpms. want can i do to combat this?

Again, you need to have repeatable knock before you worry about it. Try a 4th gear pull starting at 2K this time.

If there was repeatable knock you would have to have a tuner look at it. Personally if you want the best tune get it pro tuned. I had an ap but I returned it and am going stage 2 with a pro tune. It will be designed for your car and will run the best.

I think eventually I want to get it pro tuned but for now I want to have that extra power but do it safely. I want to get an intake and cbe and maybe a new top mount before I get it pro tuned. The nearest tuner is about 2 hours so I really want to make that trip once. And I'm not too confident with the wrx five speed so I want to get a group n mount and short shifter and all the bushings. Pitch stop mount too. And there's no point in going fast if your suspension is sloppy.

I switched to the 91 oct cobb ots tune and I haven't seen any knock yet. I'm gonna do a few logs on that tune and ill post em up.

Noob question here, but EJ, what do you mean by "repeatable knock"? Would repeatable knock show up as a different value in the Fine Knock or Feedback knock categories of a datalog? Or is repeatable knock something you experience when driving the car?

Just a guess: Meaning the knock occurs all the time under the same circumstances. e.g. you always see knock between 3600 and 3800 rpms at wot.
