Taxtrix 2.0 Openport

So hopefully someone can help. I recently purchased the tactrix openport 2.0 and I cant get RomRaider to recognize it. EcuFlash recognizes it fine, but Ive been unsuccessful in getting romraider to show the ecu connected.

What operating system are you using? And are you sure you have Java fully up to date?

Just reinstalled everything with latest java, could it have to do with me using windows 8?

I would assume Windows 8 isn't the issue since ECUFlash sees it. You try installing it outside of the 'Program Files (x86)' folder? Assuming your using Win 8 x64

Im running x64, no i havent tried installing out of that folder, but why would the folder make a difference if its installed on the C drive.

I know the program files folder has different permissions. You can look here for more info that might help.

I run XP on my tuning laptop so I'm not much help trouble shooting.. I know someone recently was having similar issues and it turned out they had installed 64-bit Java, not the 32-bit version that is required.

Ill give the 32bit java a try tonight and Ill post back if Im still having trouble.
