13 Wrx Stage 1 Datalog Help

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...JN2hQY0E#gid=0

Could someone look over this for me to make sure everything is where is supposed to be. I went out and did a 3rd gear to 4th gear pull. Im new to turbo'd cars and not very knowledgeable just yet. Ive been trying to learn as much as I can but alot of guys on here know what to look for.

Cobb Tuning Stage 1 +SF intake on a 13 hatch.

    Thanks

Typically, you want to start a log a bit lower in the RPM range (2000 RPMs).

You've got a bit of knock on heavy throttle changes, which probably means that Cobb needs to do some work on the tip-in enrichment tables. Boost is on target pretty well. Overall, I wouldn't really worry too much about it.

As for parameters, there are a few that I would no longer log when doing the typical WOT datalog...
AF Learning - It's disabled in OL fueling
MAF (either parameter) - We know you're not maxing the MAF, and if we aren't suspecting an issue with fueling, I usually don't bother
Dynamic Adv () - Don't get this confused with DAM (we want that), but we don't care how much advance is being added, we only care about ignition timing

Heres anther. Im gonna try to get a better one when roads are more clear. Its pretty tough around here to be able to go full throttle threw gears. People love to jump out in your way.

Again, you've got shift knock, but that'll happen on hard shifts sometimes.

Do you think it has anything to do with Flat foot shifting?

Im just trying to make sure im not gonna break anything. My plans for this car is a modified DD capable of some decent power. Hopefully by the summer I plan to get a different tune possibly pro tune.

Were you flat foot shifting when you logged?

I thought a typical log was from 2k rpms to redline in 3rd gear in 5 speed cars and 4th gear in 6 speeds.

I don't think you need to shift gears while logging. One pull is fine.

Yes I did flat foot shift into 4th on both. The only reason I did flat foot shift into 4th was because ive never done it before and wanted to try it out. I was already at the top of 3rd so I figured why not go into 4th a little.

Gonna try to get a few better logs in this weekend when I have time.

Heres two recent logs if someone could glance at them real quick. Both have a reading on the Fine Knock Learn and I dont think its supposed to be there. Is there any hazard to this? Anything I should change?

13 Wrx Stage 1 Datalog Help

Fine knock learn does not mean that is knocking at the current moment. It could be but basically it is a point where the computer detected knock at one time and is pulling the timing under that circumstance before it happens. It could be knocking but I doubt it. If you had both feedback knock and fine knock learn and your DAM was below 1 then I would worry.

Mods are listed in first post. Only mod is Cobb SF intake right now

Thanks wrx50. Im really just looking to make sure everything is where it should be before going stage 2 after I get my downpipe in. Once I go Stage 2 I will more then likely be going with a TP tune to get as much as I can outta it while still being safe.
