I thought a typical log was from 2k rpms to redline in 3rd gear in 5 speed cars and 4th gear in 6 speeds.

I don't think you need to shift gears while logging. One pull is fine.

Cobb recommends starting the log at about 2500 RPM in 3rd gear (5 MT) and going up to red line WOT. No need to log your shift to 4th.

for what it's worth, I have the same setup as you and am running the 91 map while using 93 gas. Maxing the boost at 17.45 instead of your 18.1, but not having any of the small "problem" you are having.
