Is that a reflash tool? (google seems to believe so). If so, look into Cobb or Tactrix.

You can log data with either of the options Zax mentioned, but they will also allow you to reflash the ecu with aftermarket maps.

If it's OBDII compliant, I don't see why it wouldn't work to read the ECU. The definitions would have to be loaded, however. Still. that's an obscene amount of money to spend on something that you don't really need. What are you planning on monitoring?

I can get one for a little cheaper then list I just like the idea of being able to monitor and log data ...but I figured since Subaru quoted me 520 just for a boost gauge it would be a better option.

Then get an aftermarket boost gauge! If that's what you plan on monitoring. It will be a fraction of the cost of that thing

At that price, you can pick up a Cobb AP and tune the car as well.

Yeah... you need to let go of that diesel stuff. Very little of it will carry over and apply to your new Subaru.
