    That exactly what I was trying to say, i'm not the greatest with explaining stuff with letters I hold about 21psi till about 5k and around 15.5 @ redline using a hybrid boost control method(grimmspeed 3 port ebcs and a hallman pro rx in parallel), so basically I run the 3 port under part throttle to prevent a ptfb situation and the mbc under wot runs.

    Changing the IC isn't going to change the compressor map.. the reduction in pressure drop, if anything, should cause the engine to ingest more air, pushing the turbo further to the right of the map, and closer to the choke line.. although that's something I've never thought about before.

    Yeah a compressor map will never change, I was only trying to say upgrading an intercooler can help when pushing the turbo to the right of the compressor map.
