Yes, just download the Linux version instead of the Windows version..

This sounds awesome. I especially love that Eric wants you to send him some logs for fine-tuning. That alone is worth the price of admission!

Anyway, I have a few questions:
    1. Is it necessary to flash back to stock when bringing it to the dealership for an oil change? I don't know if ECU checking is something they do as part of the standard checkup... And the dealership is halfway between my house and work, so I would have about 30 miles driving on either side with a stock tune unless I just flashed it in the parking lot of the dealership...
    2. How do you DO the data logging? Do you have to have the laptop plugged in with the cable and everything while you drive? I don't want memories of Paul Walker slamming the lid closed when his floor pan falls out.

    1. No, they aren't going to scan the ECU during an oil change.
    2. You need a laptop to do the datalogging. I don't know much about logging on a laptop, I use my accessport.

You have to have your laptop plugged in and connected via RomRaider to log. Then you click the button that says "log to file" or something like that. You can also set it up to switch on/off via the defroster switch, but that can be finicky.

    Thanks for the help OP.
I got my Tactrix bought the Stage 1 tune for my 2012 WRX from TP and wow.. car is much smoother now. I'll wait until I hit the 100 miles to see if I notice something else comes up. I'll be using RomRaider to log a lot just to be on the safe side

I have the stage 2 map. Now I put back the downpipe so id need a stage 1. In return i can give you his stage 2. All you need is a downpipe. can we send eachother a copy? I'll send it first if its cool . Would be much appreciated.
So...you're posting on an internet forum that you would like someone else to participate with you in stealing from one of the well known vendors of the WRX world? Just wanted to make sure I read that correctly.

Yeah, I'm not OK with that. E-mail address is edited out to protect intellectual property. Reported.

    Actually, scratch that. Post deleted.

I'm not entirely sure how the "copyright", or other IP labelling of commercially-developed maps is handled, legally, but ClubWRX stands behind the vendors in the Subaru world. The development and shakedown of these maps is what they do for their livelihood.
