Some people have going luck with the EBay $15 Vagcom cables and some don't. You can also use the older 1.3 Openport cables. Evoscsn sells them.

Hey guys! I'm from Finland and I don't get much help on finnish forums so I turned here.
Do you believe this is the correct cable to use? http://www.obd.fi/index.php?page=sho...emart&Itemid=1

It depends on the year car and what domestic market. You very well may need the 2.0 version.

Yeah, USDM. The 1.3 will work fine - good luck

If I buy an accessport sometime soon, is there a way to convert my open-source tune, and the stock rom I have to an accessport file?

Nope......has to be done by hand as far as I know. You could talk to your tuner and see if he uses both systems. If so he probably has premade maps for both. Maybe you could work something out.

+1 by hand. I did the reverse: Testes1010 stage 2 EJ205 from OS to AP.
2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!

Dang too bad. Thanks for the reply though. It's a stg 2 tune of which Eric did like 4 revisions for me. I'll see if I can throw him a tip and have it done after I get the AP.
