AP question

i just installed my AP and selected the stage 2 preloaded map

it says i should be hitting 16.5 psi boost, but im only hitt 11.9



help???

it says i may have to adjust the restrictor pill on boost control from the factory. what do all u scoobies recomend? past experience??

I believe Cobb recommends the stock IC for the off the shelf map. Not sure about the pill - I think you leave it as is.

11.9 - what gear is this in? 16.5 +- .05 is the absolute max you might see in 4th or 5th.

what are all your feelings on the cobb ap map for stage 2 "use at your own risk" for people not hitting target booost

i believe anything older than 06 can take up to 200 miles for the ECU to fully adjust to the new set up.


even with my 06 / cobb OTS stage 2 map, im not hitting 16.x PSI consistently.

you definitely should not be getting 11 though... (unless youre possibly in first gear)


ALSO, i would not go by the AP boost reading, as i've found it to not be very accurate. if you dont have a boost gauge, i would invest in one.
