Unhappy accessport 2.0

so i ordered the accessport for my 06 wrx and i began installation. i poked under the drivers side dash to connect the green test mode switch and found out it has already been connected. so i proceeded anyways and the screen tells me to plug in the test switch before it can load my map.. what the hell am i doing wrong

Grab a flashlight and crawl underneath your dash. Your car can't run if the test leads are connected. Double check...

When there connected your car goes thru a series of tests. most noticeable is the radiator fans running thru a cycle.

Well, try disconnecting the leads, reattach the AP, and then follow the onscreen directions.

Call Cobb if u can't get it to work.
