$325.00 Tuning
I will have my car tuned next Wednesday by Mac Autosport (Colorado). I got AEM short ram intake, turboXS BOV, sti pink 565cc injector, 3" exhaust system. It cost $325.00
I'm still deciding whether to go with the following route: 1. wait1year later and got bigger turbo, FMIC and got it tuned. 2. With those currently mods on my car I want to get my car tuned so it run properly. So you guys think I will be ok with current mod without tuning it and run it for 1 year and get bigger turbo and FMIC; then get it tuned? |

Tune now.
If/when you get other mods, tune again.

Tune now.
Judging by the fact that you are wasting money on BOVs and intakes and contemplating going for a year without a tune after getting an exhaust (I guess a full turbo back?), I can only guess that better performance is a distant secondary goal of yours to showing off pretty bling parts, no? .

Yeah... Perhaps I should have said "spending money" rather then "wasting money". My mistake. There's nothing really wrong with wanting pretty parts, I was just trying to clarify what this member's priorities are.

I thought if you did injectors you weren't even supposed to drive until you get a tune (or at least don't boost).

Correct, there is no need to install the injectors/fuel pump because you are not running a bigger turbo.
Atmospheric BOV's are not good for Subaru engines in general. The drawbacks of a BOV cannot be tuned out. The problem with some aftermarket intakes is the air does not go over the MAF properly, when tuning the car this can be accounted for.
