08 Accessport owners! HELP!!

Hey i got my brother an accessport for his 08 wrx, and he cant find the test mode plug-ins. are they anywhere special?? a specific location?? i would help him but he lives 12 hours away.

The 2008 WRX does not need the Test Mode connectors hooked up to reflash with the AccessPORT.

Just tell him to plug it in, turn the key to the ON position, and go.

is your vrother flashing to stage 1? oh and by the way does he like it cause ill have an AP for my 08 in about 4 days

no i bought him a down pipe, and he flashed stage 2..

yeeeahhh

idk how he really likes it. i dont think hes into cars as much as me.. haha. i think hes pretty cool with just a stage 2 wrx. where im gonna be puttin over 550whp on my sti, haha.

but good luck with yours.

I flashed mine with Perrin stage 1 I love it. I had the cobb map for a few days and perrin is so much better. You should find out how much more is his stage 2 over stage 1 and tell some of us who havent made it that far.

it says on the Perrin website that you should be making like 60ft-lbs over the stock tune, do you really feel it and if you don't mind can you explain your impressions of it? thanks a lot

It by far is better than stock. You can feel it for sure in the butt dyno. I was getting around 13 psi with cobb stage 1 and with perrin I am at about 17. It really does feel great. I also have the SPT cat back exhaust and that makes it sound like it should from the factory. I would recommend getting perrin's map to anyone. It will rock your world.
