LISC DPA meet this friday 11/19

I know its getting cold and people are putting away theur cars for the winter, but does anyone want to meet at Olympic diner friday at 10pm? This is awsome weather for the turbos

i wouldnt say the weather is 'great' for our turbos either. just ask ryan. its better than the summer tho.

Ask Dave mspt about changing the brass restrictor pill(the one in the vacuum line before the T) to a bigger one. It may help lower your boost a bit.

what time are you guys usually still hangin around DPA till? I wanna check out one of these meets, but I'm goin snowboardin in Vermont thanksgiving weekend and have work this friday night. I'll swing by after I'm done workin, just to see if anyone is still around. but what time do you guys usually stick around till?

PS. take that hose inside your house when you swap it out so you don't drop the restrictor and loose it.

I'm feeling the high boost pain also. Had to turn down the duty cycle on boost solenoid to stop the 20 psi spikes (not to mention fuel cut).

Ry- That brass pill you have is actually a carb jet and can be bought at any speed shop if you need one. The larger the pill holes, the lower the boost. If you take the pill out of the T completely, you will run only about 10 psi. I tried this when I went to Stg 4 and the wastegate held 10 psi solid all of the time.

It's good to know in a pinch when all else fails.
