I spoke with Vincent from www.dreamspeedonline.com @ the BBQ today, he is the one that does the SQC member decals.
He may be able to do them for less and nicer than the proto type I showed some of you.

They will have the subaru stars, L.I.S.C., #, two digit number and underneath in smaller lettering: long island subaru club.(and may also have an edge arround it)

He should get back to me by the end of next week with pricing.

all of you guys who havnt showed up to a meet yet are not "in" lisc yet. You need to introduce yourselfs to us. We dont want to have random people saying that they are in a group and not actually comming to the events. Show up to the meets and you are welcome to have a number.

But anybody else that doesn't come to a meet won't be able to pick up a member #/decal.(when they're ready)
That's how it was with SQC, I met and hung out with those guys a few times before SQC started (when their meet were posted on nasioc) and I was late the day they handed out the first batch of #'s....I was shet out of luck until te next set of #'s was made up.

This club/meets may die out a lil' thru the winter but spring time it should do better.
With all do respect...we can't be negative about this or it will not work!
Who knows...this club may eventually have it's own site too! Imagine www.lisc.com.or.org.or.net for all us LI guys and gals!

Thanks a lot Rick, it's getting pretty tiresome having the n00bies on here flame on me and josh for "not being in the club till we show up" so until I'm back on Long Island and attending a few of these, I'll stay in the "Lone Ranger" category and keep one foot in the Maryland posee and one in the NY posee. Maybe it'll be more fun for me to defeat Will in the name of the Annapolis crew, instead of this intra-club friendly rivalry

I think what stiguy was trying to say was that we didnt want people just saying there in and taking a number and thats the last we here/see of them. Obviously tim/josh and a few others are different. We just dont want to be like sqc and have 75% of our members not knowing each other or being cool w/each other. We wanted something a little more "family" orientated....

I understand the whole, gotta meet up first and be chill idea. Do you guys hold meets regularly, like every week on a certain day? I'd definately stop by a meet and introduce myself if I don't have to work on that particular night. oh also, since it is LISC I assume its open to all Subaru's right, or just WRXs? correct me if I'm wrong though, before I show up to one of your meets with my forester(yeah I know it looks like a mommy wagon, ha) and get a couple bad looks.

All smack talking aside, what's in the works dude? I'm going on the dyno at Turbotrix on the 27th of this month if you wanted to come watch with me and Josh...won't be anything special since it's still the vf23, but should be an interesting baseline on the amount of HP these turbos make.

Hopefully something will happen for the Thanksgiving weekend when we're all home and my car is happy again, that Friday night might be a good time to get something together.

That should work....what are you doing about your rear end? Ring and pinion or full R180?

Sounds like a decent setup, if $$ is an issue I'd stick with the Green obviously, since it'll be so much more driveable than a gt35R.

i have an ice-hockey game this friday night. everyone should come, there should be a meet there. some dude that works there has a white wrx that is modded to all hell. wouldn't it be fun to come see me and watch us kick some ass. game is at 8:15pm at Iceworks. Anyone interested, let me know...

edit: now that there is no more NHL, this should give you more incentive

Yeah..it'll work..Im going rack/pinion setup ...not the r180..cant afford it and I never launch anyways..let alone w/the new setup no crazy launches. I need a new clutch too.... vacation.
