i went on vacation to NH last week and on our way up (i was driving my friend's car part of the way) i got a ticket for 60 in a 35. i didn't think i was going that fast (but i was also in my friend's car so i wasn't used to judging it), i thought maybe 50 or so. i had also pretty much just gotten off the highway, after being on it all day.
but, should i go back to try to fight it? it's a long trip to make from NJ. is it likely that i would get it knocked down to something else with less (or no) points? i have never fought a ticket before so i don't know what to expect at all.

they are "supposed" to. i've had luck escaping one ticket i got in ny that should have transferred over. and this time the officer said (when i asked about transferring) that they sometimes get lazy and don't bother transferring them. i think i may wait until a little before the due date and send my guilty plea then and hope that they are lazy and don't due the transferring paperwork.
ah well, i'm just worrying about insurance prices. my license was about to become clean and then this happened..
