I have a police report, etc. I know there is a thread in the Tri State forum on NASIOC for stolen cars but NASIOC is down right now.

Pics and mods are in my sig for reference. the only real difference from those pics are that I now have an RFL muffler and cf side markers.

The plates on this car are MA. Plate number is 2591MT.
Sorry to hear about yoru loss... I had a 2000 civic si, pretty heavily modified and I had autoloc, club, clifford alarm with every sensor known to man, installed really nice... and have a HIDDEN fuel cut off switch and remember HIDDEN..

and i was attending Montclair State Univ. at the time and within 4 hours they stole my sh*t and drove off with it!! i knew that because i got a ticket from EZPASS in the mail, the drove my car to Newark first and then they drove straight to NY. I never found my car, had about $8000 into it..... plus my $500 worth of sh*tty college books!!!!

but I thought montclair was safe, hell no.. no where is safe...
anyways, ill keep an eye.... g'd luck

Brian, this really bites. So much work had gone into that car. Is because of your car that I fell in love with the OEM body kit, and Defi gauges. ..damn...
Any updates on this? Have you recovered the car yet?

BTW, I have to ask... was the beer in the car?? 'cause if it was...oh hell no!!! We're going hunting in NJ...

Holy ish! Your car got stolen with all that security on it?!?!? Perfect example of professionals. If they want it they will take it. Sorry to hear about that.

No updates Pab. Still waiting. I hope to get the FastLane info tomorrow.

The beer was in my bag which I had brought inside so I still have it. I would have been really pissed then.

Ever since I heard your car got stolen, I've been even more paranoid than I usually am (which is pretty bad)....
they're out to get me man ..

Kid you not, I've thought about it plenty of times, to just sell the car so that I can live in peace without worrying about door dings, car thieves, haterz scratching up the car ('cause it happens around here), etc....

Just be aware of your surroundings and get a good alarm Pab.

I can tell you that there is no place in Boston where I am that worried about my car getting stolen. It would be a huge surprise if that ever happened here.

The first mod I am doing is a sick combination of security systems. I have no problem putting in over $1000 worth of security.

You just have to do it. I can't tell you how many times I read here and in the Tri-State forum about car thefts and said "Man I really have to get some alarm on my car." That concern just died down and nothing happened....that is until I got f'ed over.

I was re-reading Joe's theft thread from the Short Hills mall. In that thread some one posted about cars getting broken into at their local mall. He worked security there and said every car that got broken into there did not have an alarm. You are just easy pickens at that point.

Get an alarm. Don't just read this and say "yeah, I really should" and then don't do anything about it. Yes, I know that if they want it they will take it. All my car had on it was the crappy UTEC security.

It's alll about the combos you put on, like you stressed. Throw different setups at them so they get confused because they're used to the usual **** that normal alarm installers do. Hidden kills, horns, battery for the horns, etc.

I do have a little bit of an update. I got my FastLane toll information for the month of July up to 7/21.

My car got stolen between 4 and 7pm on 7/17. I saw that the car had gone through the Essex tolls at 3:09 am and 4:13 am on 7/18.

What I am assuming happened is that they stole the car in the afternoon, ditched it and came back at about 3:00am to pick it up and take it. That is the only toll info that I have on the car.

So I think I can also assume that they didn't take it to joy ride or I would have seen some more tolls.

I will continue sitting and waiting.

There wouldn't be any at that time since it wasn't reported stolen.

I don't think they'll be stupid enough to post on the ForSale thread...
But local people should watch out for any sales of the parts mentioned on the mods list. Im sure we can find them if we stay honest.
Remember, it could be your WRX next...
