You think I would actually mod an STi?

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.

    WoW

Stolen from Montclair...Crazy stuff as it is a pretty good place to live (esp Upper Montclair). I live in Montclair and work in Newark, but I am garaged when I park both in Montclair and University Heights section of Newark, so I'll make sure I'll keeping doing so.

Hope you get it back as it sounds like you have a bit of mods into the bugeye, or get a big fat insurance check for the loss.

Yeah. I thought Montclair was going to be ok too but it is still too close to Newark.

I have it worked out so that whenever I visit there from now on I don't have to drive my (new) car there.

Just checking to see if you have heard any news on your car? I've been keeping an open eye down here in sleepy Dover. Here is a general question if a car is stolen will the insurance company pay you for all the modifications? If so do we need to save receipts or what?

    Thanks

    Thanks.

Nothing yet. I will be getting my FastLane toll usage from 7/17-22 to see how much and where that has been used. This doesn't mean that it is my car, it may only be my transponder.

As far as mods and insurance, I'm not sure yet. Every insurance company is different. I will be reviewing my policy in great detail to see what my comp covers. I will let you know the outcome, which may come as late as mid August. It would be nice to get some of the $10k back.

I would definitely save receipts. I would think they need this regardless.

ive saved every receipt of any mods for this very reason, all kept in a binder along with my work notes of when/what was done to the car.

cant hurt at very least, can only help!

i hope you nail the bastards somehow from the fastlane pass. thatd be great if they could give you video from the tolls.

From this point on I am hoping to get plate photos from the tolls. We'll see what happens from that point. Maybe they are dumb enough to still be driving my car.
