Bear Mt., NY Car Show/Cruise May 19th....

Every wed. night there is a Car show or cruise night @ BEar Mountain State Park in NY. I've organized this one in Nabisco, and IClub, and figured I'd get it up here for all to see.


There will be 3 different rendevous locations. One @ the visitors center on the Palisades Pkwy b/w exit 17 & 18 for the guys comin from the South @ 6:15 PM. The other will be @ the Goat Trail to the Bear Mountain bridge @ 6:15PM. ANd the final one will be for the Northern folk at the Dutchess Mall. WE plan on bringing all the caravans together around 6:30 PM @ the circle by the Bear Mountain Bridge.

So far we have almost 15 vehicles set up to roll in. It should be a great time. Post up if interested...

To answer your questions...it depends. Obviously traffic may become a factor in this answer. Not sure of exactly how you would choose to get there from long island. It's about a 45 min drive from the GWB. But, it may be easier for some of you NY guys to take the tapanzee, although, I'm not really sure. If you check the the post over in tri-sate area in Nasioc, some of the other NY guys could probably better answer your ?.....

If you're coming from LI, take the Throgs Neck Bridge to 95S. Go over the G. Washington Bridge and Take the Palisades Parkway North. Bear Mt is approx 45-60 minutes from the Throgs Neck, so your distance depends on how long it takes you to get to the Throg's Neck.
