Anyone else see fighter jets patrolling Long Island today?

I couldnt get a good view from my office window but I saw two fighter jets streak by around 1 pm today. They were moving pretty good because I didnt hear/ feel them until 15 seconds later.

I dont normally see them around this area (holbrook, NY) so I'm thinking they are patrolling. Maybe for a possible threat on good Friday and/or Easter weekend.

If anything goes down again around here I'm heading for the east end to hop on a boat to get of the Island. You can barely make it over the bridges during rush hour let alone an emergency. I'll paddle my surfboard to conneticut if I have to.

Yes, I'm still paranoid after 9/11. Anyone that lost people and witnessed it first hand are still and always will be affected.

LOL, apparently they were heading towards boston to do a fly-by for opening day at Fenway. They were heading in that general direction (NE).

I havent seen fighters overhead since 9/11, and hope to never see them flying again.
