Atco Thurs Oct 16th

Most likely going to atco this thursday again to try and get some better times with my car, before i begin the new setup install. Last week there where about 8 WRXs, lets see if we can get atleast that many this week.

I was about a mile from the track when it started to rain, so I turned around and went home. The next day, I nuked 2nd gear about 1/2 mile from my house. I would have broken it on the track that night...guess the rain saved me some embarrassment.

sounds like its time to upgrade, i put in a Kaaz gearset a few weeks ago after my second stock tranny ate it.

Yeah, Nino's working on finding me a low mileage STI RA gearbox with upgraded diffs and all. I'm tired of buying Subaru transmission parts.

Plus, I'm sure the new gear ratios will get me into high 12s...I was so close with the old clutch and flywheel...then I put my Exedy clutch and flywheel in and blew the trans after a couple of days.

Is anyone going Atco this Thurs (23rd)? I'll be there and hope to brake into 12's.

Who did the work? I'd do it, but I don't have a lift. Precision Tuning did my clutch/flywheel, but they're not sure if they want to get into the gearbox.
