Nice.
I've don GWB->Battery tunnel in 12 minutes down the west-side highway. A friend on a motorcylce has circled manhattan in like 20 or 22 min.

Preliminary Disclaimer: I was not street racing at the time that I accomplished this amazing feat, merely driving in a spirited manner.
At about 10:00pm EST this evening, I turned from 10th Street in Manhattan onto 3rd Avenue, going uptown. A few adrenaline filled minutes later, I turned off onto 86th Street. The 76 blocks of 3rd Avenue that I had traversed were done without stopping for traffic or any red lights. Although the lights on 3rd Avenue are timed, they are only in sections, and 59th Street becomes a very difficult break in the timing. The amount of traffic this evening, especially through midtown, was horrendous, and there were many lane blocking obstacles, such as steam vents.
Anyway enough blabbing...it was fun and one of these days I'll break me record.![]()

I have been know to storm up Hudson onto 8th Ave from the Holland Tunnel, as well as storming down Broadway to Canal on the way to the Holland Tunnel. No storming will ever be done on Canal though, as it is THE WORST ROAD IN AMERICA!!!!!
Flying through the city rules. I marvel at your feat as 3rd Ave can be a bear.

Manhattan is the best place to drive 100+ mph. There's plenty of room for it!
