    NYC Auto insurance?

Hey guys, I currently live in south jersey and have a liability policy for less than 400 per 6 months, I'm going to be heading to off to school in nyc and will be living in brooklyn. What are some reasonable insurance companies that you guys work with? I've checked with geico and the other major insurers only to find that i'm going to be paying an arm and a leg. Will I have to do without my rex?

i suggest you leave your car at home. brooklyn is crowded and parking is a real pain (alternate side parking/street cleaning) not to mention your insurance will be very high. I've been working in brooklyn for the past year and I quit my job partly because of parking and the fact I payed around 200 dollars in parking tickets the past year.
