yea they did, the real culprit makes both the dealer and myself look like dumba** they told me that the turbine fins were busted (they quoted over $1000 to fix it)

when I popped the hood to begin the turbo install I noticed that the hose clamp holding the y pipe to the turbo had fallen off, so I decided to reattach it and take a test drive. Kaabam fine runs great, but I think the max boost is a little low but that is for another day.

now I have an extra TD-04 laying around to begin (doing myself) a full port/polish and cermic coat job along with the headers, uppipe and downpipe

that is kind of crazy. at least you have a running car again have fun with the extra turbo p&p project and keep us posted.

i still don't know if i am going to have the money together in time for the dyno day, but i may still come up otherwise. i am still mulling it over.

you should come out even if it is to watch some guys dyno and just hang out for a couple of hours. I personally am curious to see what numbers the guy on the list with the RX-8 makes

UPDATE:

I went over and visited with Chad today and have some updates


BLOUCH Preformance Turbo will also be there Saturday with their STi which I assume will be putting down some crazly stupid high numbers, they will also be their to talk to about your future turbo upgrades (I plan to talk to them about decking out my TD-04 that is laying around)

they will be ordering pizza for lunch and need a near accurate count of people, so if you are planning to be bringing more than yourself please throw it up so nobody gets short-handed at the meet

just a fyi the Lotus in the pictures on page 1 IS FOR SALE so you to could drive home in a new Lotus (try and explain that to the wife!)

just got done fabing up a new exhaust for the bike

now it is time to get the car ready
