    I worked at a tire shop- just call and ask before you show up. 99% of the time they will be happy to take your money for mounting and balancing the tires you supply.

    To install tires properly requires specialized equipment, so just call around til you find a shop that can help ya.

    As for a tire recommendation, I just put Kumho Ecsta MX's on my car with my new wheels. I've only put ~200 miles on them so far, but they feel pretty sticky on the street and are quite inexpensive. I have not autocrossed them yet, but a bit of spirited driving on some backroads on them last weekend has left me really looking forward to autox season (which is only a month away now...) They might be worth looking into if you're looking for a cheap yet high performance tire.
