I need new tires. Any suggestions?
And to stay on topic I'm putting my summers on as soon as I buy them. Unfortunately I have to replace my downpipe and headers as well as a possible slipped bearing... lol. So my tires aren't too big of a concern, obviously.
I'm putting them on tomorrow (3/28) if i have time. If not, Saturday(3/31).
I've never been to an auto-x event, I would like to get involved this summer. I need to do some research and find out whats going on at Etown since thats the closest track to me.
2012 VW GLI
2012 Toyota Sienna LE AWD (thats right...swagger wagon)

Well let's see here... Price... Whatever I can afford after new headers and downpipe (haha any recommendations on those too? looking at cobb, avo, invidia, JIC... can't decide) and possibly a rebuilt engine... So maybe i'll just kick some kids off their bikes and use those tires lol, or mortgage my parents house from under them!
Performance... Eek. Well i had s03's on before... those were... well... sexy to say the least. If I get this new job I won't mind spending $200+ a tire. If I don't get this job, then It'll hurt to spend $200+ a tire but i am a masochist.
Dry or wet.. mm... well... Not sure how to answer that, (aside from saying dry or wet, lol). Pretend I don't know this one.
I've got a nice set of prodrive rims so I'll save some money on the wheels at least.
High Performance tire with good wet performance and decent tread life: Falken ZE-512 or FK-452
Ultra Performance tire with decent wet performance and reasonable tread life:

Thanks! So I've got my wheels already, if i buy a set of 4 tires (noobie question alert) what's the process for putting tire on wheel on car.
Yea but you know how that usually goes "sorry we only work with parts you buy here..."....
"omg come on just put on the wheels..."
Figured the more stuff I learn the better.
