NJ Inspection - window tint

I'm new to the forum, and had a quick question.

I have an 04 WR Blue WRX and the NJ state inspection is due this month. I have 35 tint all around, and from what I understand, will not be able to pass inspection with it.

Does anyone know of a good private inspection station in the Trenton/Princeton/New Brunswick area that will be more lenient with window tint? If not, does anyone know of a reputable tint shop in the area that will remove the old front tint, and re-do it after inspection for a reasonable price? i'm tempted to get the whole car re-done for the right price.

Dodging the Law

The issue is that a small station can be fined heavily if they inspect a car and it had tint. What you need to do is find a tint shop that will "sell you a receipt" which is dated a week or two away. Then you can show this receipt to the place that will perform the inspection and tell them that you will say the car had no tint when they inspected it. You could even have the inspection performed on the same date your tint was "installed".

Think outside the box, there are ways around most problems.

go look up private inspections online. call the local places, ask em how much, and tell them you got 35% tints all around and if thats gonna be a problem (i.e.fail you)?
