Some pics... didn't have any more on my cell.

Work parking lot, it seems to be the only thing that got plowed! They did a fantastic job:

It's the heavy, snow blower clogging, power line pulling-down snow.

I have to say though, it was a beautiful drive in this morning.

The WRX handled incredibly with the snow tires. Every road here is packed solid with snow I think the townships gave up. But it was a LOT of fun flipping the traction control off and mashing down the gas and spinning all 4 wheels no matter what speed
I just turn my TCS off normally... It cuts the throttle so much its not even funny and gets me stuck in places with the new tires...

With that said, Yay for going back to work tonight... Oh well, there should be alot of calloffs anyway. Glad to see everyones getting back into the swing of things.

So.. whats this i heard there more snow next week?

My thrower has never clogged. It came fairly close earlier today, but barfed up the gray slushy stuff once I fed it some fresher snow.

I used all of mine in the generator. Good thing I was working on one of my motorcycles and had the tank off.. had to empty it into the generator too.

Power was out, and every 30 min or so lights would come on for a minute and then go back out again. It was torture not knowing if it would come back on to stay!

How long were they out? I was lucky to keep 'em on throughout.

A good 5 hours or so. Right as soon as it started to get dark, of course.

My snowblower had never jammed until this snow. It's a pretty beefy machine. I'm going to call Cobb and see if they can do a Stage 1 kit for it!

What? I'm just some Texas n00b who might have see 1-2" a year. Suprisingly though, it snowed 3-4" inches in Dallas this morning. That's like the blizzard of the century.

    [edit] Mmmm.....DQ Blizzard.
