I've searched with no luck - Need a shop in lower PA!

Hey guys, I've looked around on this forum and on Nasioc and all over, and I can't get a bead on a Subaru shop in my part of the state... (Lancaster)

Does anyone have anything they can recommend?

I'm looking for anyone you'd trust to wrench on a fairly modded '03 WRX.

I'm currently having some serious engine probs and need a good shop BADLY.

So far everyone on this board has been phenomenal and I really appreciate all of your help and patience!! So as always, thanks guys.

    -Dave

Thats CBRD speed factory (chad block racing design/development). Im not sure if he is open yet but he is a great guy and knows a ton about subarus and modding/tuning them. He was supposed to open up in january but i know he was pushing it back a little to make sure everything was set up correctly and all.

You guys are awesome. Thanks so much for the quick responses - exactly why I love this board.

I'll check into this shop that Chad is starting - sounds pretty great to be honest. Is he a member of this forum or did he work at another shop that you guys know about?

    Either way, thanks again!!

EDIT: I fired an email off to the address on the CBRD site, I'll let you know if I get some more info on the opening of the shop...

Wow. He already responded to my email! This guy is fast.

    Haha

He said that while they aren't open to the public, we might be able to work something out... he asked for an overview of what I'd like to do.

I gave him my sad bastard tale.. we'll see how it goes!

Either way, he's def a very nice guy. Great tips guys.

    thanks

our dyno reads slightly low, for those that will end up on it shortly

stock sti and evo's read around 210/215

the last evo ix we did put out 343whp/340wtq at 25 psi stock turbo on 93...
the 06 sti we have in house with intake, fuel pump, headers and turboback did 308/322

mustang engineers were here this week, and it turns out we were reading even lower than many of their dynos because the calibrations were off... they recalibrated and tested it, not its up about 5whp, not a huge difference, but a difference nonthe less

for reference a stock V10 2006 M5 bmw which makes 507 crank hp made 389whp/289wtq on our dyno

Very nice and clean looking shop/dyno area What is your adress? I want to mapquest you to find out exactly where you are. Can you please send me a PM with prices for a base line, and then with 1-2hrs of tuning.

    Thank you
    Zack.

depends on the platform we are tuning, utec or ecuflash is easy peasy.

normal dyno pulls are 85 for 3-4 pulls with wideband and air fuel logged.

    tuning will vary
