I have an '02 WRX and Im wondering if any of you Jersey guys know what it takes to pass inspection.... I checked on the DMV site and I can't find anything. I'm looking to go stage 2 this summer and am trying to decide whether or not to go catted or catless with my DP. I'd like to save some money, so catless and using the extra money to port the WG seems like a good option, but will I have to pull the DP off and put the OEM one back on when I need to pass emissions? How are you guys getting away with this. The other 2 options I've thought of were to get a catless pipe and have a shop weld in a HF cat... Anyone know how much this will cost in the end? does it make more sense to just get the catted DP? my third option is to go to a private inspector and slip him a 50 everytime I need to get inspected.
